First Medical Training provides bespoke medical cover for all types of events both on land and water. Its staff assists with all aspects of planning, from initial risk assessment through to deployment. FMT has many years’ experience in this field and is relied upon by many event organisers and TV/film companies throughout the UK.

The FMT TV & Film Medical Cover Team have been working with media teams since the early 2000's. The medical team include First Aiders, front line medics, Emergency Care Assistants, Nurses, Doctors, Fire Marshalls, Diver Medics, Safety Divers and Underwater Camera Operators. Our team have real life experience as medics to respond effectively to any potential situations that occur during filming. Whether the problem occurs with actors or crew, our team are there.

Our vehicle fleet includes:

  • Fully equipped front line ambulances
  • Rapid response vehicles
  • 4 x 4 vehicles
  • Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs).

Our medics are available for small productions to large scale filming situations, whether on dry land or on the water.
