1. FIRST AID COURSES

Where are the courses delivered?
The courses can be delivered at your business premise upon approval, or at one of our training venues located in Bradford and Leeds - whichever is most convenient to you.

Do you charge extra if the instructor travels to us?
No, the price remains the same.

Will I receive a certificate?
Yes, you will receive a wall certificate on successful completion of your chosen course.

How long are the certificates valid for?
Certificates are valid for 3 years unless stated otherwise.

Are the courses approved?
Yes, all our courses are approved and monitored by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB).

Is there a minimum age limit?
The minimum age limit is 16 for certification, however we can deliver informal instruction to people of all ages.


2. DENTAL COURSES

Where are the courses delivered?
The courses are delivered at your practice for your convenience.

Will we receive CPD hours?
Yes, all our courses attract either verifiable or general CPD.

How many CPD hours will we receive?
You will receive between 2 and 6 hours CPD dependent on the course delivered – see our course list for further details.

Does the course content comply with current guidelines?
Yes, all our courses are taught in accordance with the most up to date guidelines and protocols and exceed CQC standards.

Who will train us?
All our dental courses are delivered by highly experienced medical professionals.

What else can you offer us as a dental practice?
We can supply you with all your emergency equipment, emergency drugs through our partner PSUK, full surgery audits (a free service when coupled with a course), comprehensive advice and aftercare.


3. CARE TRAINING COURSES

Can you provide contract training to our group?
Yes, we can provide training for your group. Call us to arrange an informal visit.

Where are the courses held?
The courses are held in your care/nursing home for your convenience.

Do you offer refresher training?
Yes, we provide unique refresher training mostly conducted whilst staff are on-shift to minimise downtime – see the course page for fuller details.

Who will train us?
All courses are delivered by highly experienced trainers who have many years’ experience in the industry. Instructor Courses

Where are the courses delivered?
The courses are delivered at one of our training venues located in Bradford and Leeds.

How long does the course take?
The course is delivered over 5 days, 9am – 5pm daily.

What qualifications will I receive after the 5 days?
You will receive your Level 3 Education and Training (QCF), First Aid Trainer/Assessor, First Aid at Work, Defibrillation Instructor, Anaphylaxis Awareness Instructor and Paediatric First Aid Instructor certificates.

What will I be able to teach once I have passed the course?
First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work Requalification, First Aid at Work Annual Refresher, Emergency First Aid at Work, 6 & 12 hour Paediatric First Aid, Defibrillation, Oxygen Administration, Anaphylaxis Awareness, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
