End of Life Care Course
Our End of Life Care course covers the different perspectives on death and dying, including the aims, principles and policies of end of life care. It also looks at factors relating to communication in end of life care and knowing how to access the range of care and support services available to individuals and others. It includes the latest guidance on end of life care from CQC and others within the sector.
The End of Life Care course provides care staff with an understanding of how to support and care for clients when they are nearing the end of their life.

- Your role and responsibilities
- How to support people and their emotions
- Professionals that are involved in end of life care
- Different cultures
The course is delivered in 2 hours, and candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn and interact during group activities. The training venue should be quiet and undisturbed. Staff should not be expected to be on duty. Staff attending should remain for the entire length of the session.
