Description
Manual Handling Instructor Training Course (ITC) - 1 Day
Our 1 Day Manual Instructor Training Course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to train others in your workplace on manual handling and will enable you to provide suitable and sufficient training that meets legislative requirements and current best practice.
Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (MHOR) (as amended 2002) require employers to assess the risks to employees' health involved in moving and handling objects at work and to remove or minimise these risks.
Having a manual handling instructor can help your organisation adhere to this law and minimise the incidence of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) in your organisation which are associated with poor manual handling and are the most commonly reported type of work-related ill health. In addition, the skills and techniques learnt will ensure you have a healthier workforce that is not suffering with pain resulting from manual handling injury.
