Choking and Prevention Course
Our Choking and Prevention Course is ideal for staff working in care settings, this training teaches delegates about the causes of choking, the signs and symptoms, and active steps which they can take in order to prevent it's occurrence. Delegates will also gain an understanding of different diet options, the foods which could pose a risk to patients, and the practical skills required to assist someone with their eating.

The course is delivered in 2 hours and candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn along with interaction of group activities. The training venue should be quiet and undisturbed. Staff should not be expected to be on duty Staff attending should remain for the entire length of the session.
