Manual Handling Course
Manual Handling Course
Our manual handling course covers a wide variety of tasks including lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling and carrying. When any of these tasks are not performed properly there is a risk of injury. Employers have a legal obligation to properly train employees involved in manual handling activities, this training reduces the risk of injury and so lessens lost time due to work related injuries and also potential liability claims.
Over 1/3 of all work related injuries are from manual handling. Back injuries are the biggest cause of staff absence in the UK and yet most are preventable! Manual handling training is a legal requirement in any situation where your staff are required to do any lifting, lowering, pulling or pushing that carries any level risk. Most work environments employ people who incorporate the use of manual handling.
